Jacob T. Zack is a playwright from Washington, D.C.

Jacob’s work examines language, alienation, and the human condition. He aims to challenge theatrical norms with unconventional dramaturgical concepts.

Jacob’s plays include Proclivity for Kiting (B-Street), Geronimo (The Slate Theater), Verisimilitude (NJ Repertory Company), Playtime (Inge Festival, Alternate), The Roast (The Slate Theater, Sylvia Center for the Arts, Artists’ Exchange, B-Street), Zoo Theory (NJ Repertory Company), Willard (Inge Festival, Alternate), The Break Room (Stage Left Theater), To The Beat! (Funhouse VI), and The World is Sand (Spooky Action Theater).

Jacob’s play Verisimilitude was published by Smith & Kraus. His play Zoo Theory was published by Smith & Kraus and Applause Theatre & Cinema Books (The Best New Ten-Minute Plays, 2020).

Jacob’s absurdist comedy, Proclivity for Kiting, won the B-Street New Comedies Festival (2019).
